Overview

Nairobi National Park holds a unique title as the only wildlife park globally located within a capital city’s limits. Covering 117 square kilometers, it offers a condensed but authentic safari experience. While many visitors opt for a quick drive-through, dedicating a full day or a structured half-day allows for a deeper exploration of the diverse habitats, from open grass plains to highland dry forest.

The proximity to the city means you can experience the bush and return to your hotel in time for dinner. This tour is specifically structured to utilize the early morning hours, which is the prime window for predator activity, rather than driving aimlessly during the midday heat when animals tend to hide.

Trip Highlights

  • The Big Three
  • The Rhino Sanctuary
  • Hippo Pools
  • Ivory Burning Site
  • The City Backdrop
